Home Buying Decisions

One of the largest purchases most individuals make are their homes. This module seeks to provide a biblical lens through which to make this purchase. In this module, we will first look at some of the common misconceptions concerning buying and owning a house. Next we will examine how to select an affordable house and how to select a real estate agent. Then we will review the different types of mortgages, discuss refinancing, and thoughts regarding paying off a mortgage early. Finally, we will go over some helpful hints that appear to provide a “free lunch.”
